On August 29, the final of the 13th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Division) was grandly held at Xianning Country Garden Hot Spring Hotel. As the only enterprise in Hubei's agricultural field to advance to the final, Yafei Seed won the second prize with an outstanding fourth-place overall score!

This competition was co-hosted by the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Financial Work Bureau of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, and the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League. A total of 977 enterprises in Hubei signed up, 722 passed the preliminary review, and 397 enterprises entered the semi-finals of the Hubei Division. On August 16, after fierce semi-final presentations, 50 outstanding enterprises representing the new force of Hubei's innovative technology successfully qualified for the provincial final.

The competition covers five industrial sectors: next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials and new energy, new energy vehicles, and energy conservation and environmental protection. The integrated breeding, propagation and promotion project of Yafei Broccolini and Special Kale, as a key project in the biomedicine group, competed fiercely in the final and stood out among numerous projects by virtue of multi-dimensional innovations in scientific and technological innovation, model innovation and standard innovation!

On the morning of August 30, at the innovative product exhibition held before the award ceremony of the competition, Yafei Broccolini and Lacinato kale, as the award-winning products of the second prize project, attracted key attention from leaders attending the event, including Feng Yanfei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province. Director Feng listened carefully to the introduction of Broccolini and said that he wanted to taste these two special vegetables at noon!

Yafei Broccolini is a high-end new derivative variety of broccoli independently developed by Yafei Seed over more than ten years. It is rich in dietary fiber, vitamins and calcium, and is more suitable for Chinese taste than ordinary broccoli.
