From December 2 to 5, 2024, the 2024 Asian Seed Congress with the theme “Thriving Asia–Pacific, Brilliant Seed Industry” was grandly held in Sanya. The congress gathered more than 1,500 industry elites from home and abroad to discuss the development strategy of the seed industry. Meanwhile, the wellarranged professional exhibition hall served as a platform for the display, exchange and cooperation of seed industry technological innovation achievements worldwide.

Yafei Seed sponsored the opening ceremony and golf tournament of this congress, and presented a wide range of competitive varieties at the event. Among them, Yafei Broccolini and Lacinato kale, as new highquality characteristic vegetables, attracted great attention from merchants of various countries!

At this grand event, Yafei Seed’s booth was located in the center of the venue. Its unique vegetablethemed design caught the eyes of guests from all over the world. A variety of new vegetable varieties were neatly arranged on the booth, full of vibrant greenery. Inside the pavilion, attractive models appeared in gorgeous dresses made of Broccolini, Lacinato kale, broccoli and other vegetables, making people feel as if they were in a lively and energetic green world. The booth was crowded with visitors, and sounds of communication, negotiation and inquiry kept rising one after another.

In addition, tasting special vegetables while visiting the exhibition was another eyecatching highlight of Yafei Seed. Manager Yanbing An from the Marketing Department cooked various delicate dishes with Broccolini and Lacinato kale, and warmly invited passersby to taste them: “This is our selfdeveloped Lacinato kale. It tastes delicious and is highly nutritious, especially rich in dietary fiber, plant protein and folic acid.” Many merchants spoke highly of it after tasting.

Besides Yafei Broccolini and Lacinato kale, Yafei Seed also highlighted its competitive broccoli series at the exhibition. Yafei broccoli also attracted guests from the United States, South Korea, Bangladesh, Jordan, New Zealand and other countries for negotiation and cooperation intention.

To enable merchants worldwide to know Chinese vegetable seed enterprises, understand China’s improved varieties, and help domestic superior varieties go global – this is the motivation and original aspiration for Yafei Seed to persist in deeply participating in the Asian Seed Congress.Currently, Yafei Seed, together with Huazhong Agricultural University, is conducting research and development on Isatis Root Broccolini and Isatis Root Lacinato kale.
