To mark its 20th anniversary, Yafei Seed launched three major events: the “Born in the Same Year as Yafei” Public Welfare Student Aid Program, the “I Endorse Yafei Seed” Short Video Contest, and the “Yafei Wanlianqing Lacinato kale Creative Dish Contest”. These initiatives repay society, empower the industry, and showcase the strength of the seed sector. Since launch, they have received enthusiastic responses and wide participation from all walks of life, industry partners, and supporters. On the morning of October 31, the three events officially entered the judging stage, with a panel of authoritative experts conducting professional reviews and the Wuhan Jiangtian Notary Public Office providing full-process supervision to ensure fair and authoritative results.

01 Results: “Born in the Same Year as Yafei” Public Welfare Student Aid Program

Upholding the corporate public welfare philosophy “The nation is built on agriculture; agriculture is built on seeds; breeding starts with nurturing talents”, Yafei Seed launched this program to select 20 outstanding university students nationwide who were born in 2006 (the same year Yafei was founded), excel academically and morally, and aspire to careers in agriculture.Launched on July 11, 2025, the program received applications from 64 students across 20 universities by September 30. After preliminary screening by the organizing committee, 30 students advanced to the final evaluation.

On the morning of October 31, the expert panel scored and selected candidates based on major relevance, application materials, and personal demeanor. Twenty outstanding students were finally selected as awardees.

Awardees will receive:

· A scholarship of ¥2,000

· Internship and employment opportunities at Yafei Seed

· A study tour focused on cruciferous vegetable breeding

· All participants will receive a premium souvenir from Yafei Seed. Scholarships and souvenirs will be issued within 10 working days.

02 Results: “I Endorse Yafei Seed” Short Video Contest

To thank loyal customers over its 20-year history, Yafei Seed held this contest to collect outstanding works, promote new products, technologies, and methods, and celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary.

Launched on July 23, 2025, the contest drew nearly 80 participants by October 20, with a cumulative online view count of 1.845 million. Under the witness of judges and notaries, 20 winners were selected by online view count in descending order.

Winners will receive cash prizes of ¥5,000 / ¥2,000 / ¥500 and an honorary bronze medal. All participants will get a premium souvenir. Prizes and souvenirs will be issued within 10 working days.

03 Results: Yafei Wanlianqing Lacinato kale Creative Dish Contest

Independently developed by Yafei Seed, Yafei Wanlianqing Lacinato kale boasts unique market advantages: high contents of vitamin C, dietary fiber, and calcium; health benefits including tumor inhibition, immunity enhancement, and weight management; as well as a crisp, tender, and sweet taste. It is now sold at top channels including Banu Hot Pot, selected Haidilao Hot Pot Stores, Freshippo, and Shuyi Burning Herb Tea.

Launched on August 21, 2025, the contest aimed to unlock the ingredient’s potential through creative cooking and bring quality produce to more households. By October 20, more than 40 entries were received; 20 outstanding works advanced after preliminary screening. Judges scored entries on appearance, ingredient use, creativity, and promotion value, selecting 10 winning works.
