Meanwhile, he hoped both parties would break disciplinary boundaries, carry out in-depth project research and development cooperation to solve practical enterprise demands, jointly build scientific research platforms and collaborative research teams, establish a special guarantee mechanism, and regularly promote the implementation of cooperation to support high-quality industrial development.

After listening to the introduction, the university leaders spoke highly of Yafei Seed’s leading position and development achievements in the industry. Wei Peng, Director of the Alumni Affairs Office, combined with alumni work practice, noted that he had witnessed the growth of Yafei Seed. In the future, the office will give full play to the bridge role of the alumni foundation, deepen cooperation between the university and technology-oriented alumni enterprises, jointly build a university-enterprise industry research institute, and invite enterprise representatives to return to the university for exchanges to build a platform for talent training and communication.

Zhou Jirong, Vice Dean, and Lin Hui, Deputy Party Secretary, put forward suggestions on the implementation details of cooperation respectively. Zhou Jirong pointed out that current university-enterprise cooperation in the seed industry still lacks a special undertaking platform, and both sides need to jointly build a cooperation carrier to accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements into industrial momentum. Lin Hui expressed eager expectation for future cooperation and suggested optimizing the Yafei Scholarship into a “project announcement system” to further stimulate students’ enthusiasm for participating in scientific research practice and supporting industrial development.
