Early‑maturing variety. Harvest takes place around 65 days after transplanting. High‑round compact heads with bright‑green colour, fine and uniform florets, and substantial weight. Average head weight: 0.5‑0.75 kg. Good moisture tolerance; no purpling occurs under low‑temperature conditions. For Wuhan region, seedling raising is recommended from August 1 to August 10.
**Risk Note**: Avoid overly early or overly late sowing in autumn, otherwise marketable quality and yield will be adversely affected. This variety has moderate drought tolerance yet good moisture tolerance. Strengthen fertilizer and water management. Apply boron fertilizer prior to transplanting to prevent hollow stem and stem cracking. In addition, protect seedlings against damping‑off and rhizoctonia rot at the seedling stage.
During continuous rainy days before maturity, intensify disease prevention, especially for downy mildew, black rot, Alternaria leaf spot, and head rot, as well as boron deficiency disorder. Increase boron fertilizer application rate for acid soils.
